About Agnostic Pope

You've no doubt found the webpage of Agnostic Pope aka James Willis. So I thought I might write a little about myself

I have a love-hate relationship with this "thing" called life which manifests itself usually in intelligent dialogue not involving Adam Sandler. But I'm being redundant. Black and white photos are, like black and white philosophies, beautiful perversions at best.

As you can tell from the above, I am very interested in philosophy and religion, and though I seek to understand it, I have difficulty to commiting to any one of them. Each has its own stregnths and corresponding weaknesses. My alias is a reflection of this paradox, as most people who are fervent about religion are fervent about a specific one.

My other hobbies include music (performance and listening), art (which I'll define as movies/plays/books that make you think), and gaming (board/card/computer). My eventual goal in life is to get involved with intellectual property law, however, right now I like to program. Currently I am doing software development with Landmark Graphics (I am on the Geoprobe Team. Our software analyzes seismic waves to determine subterranean layout and thus allow energy companies to make better extraction decisions).
